The Upside Fund Eliminates $15 Million in Medical Debt

The Upside Fund’s holiday gift to Undue Medical Debt eliminated over $7.5 million in debt, including two people who each owed over $100,000. Undue Medical Debt seeks to help families and individuals burdened by medical debt by acquiring and abolishing these debts, which in turn brings financial relief to families and reduces related stress. The Upside Fund’s gift to Dollar For helped eliminate over $2 million in debt for people nationwide. Dollar For is a national nonprofit that crushes medical bills by helping patients access charity care, empowering patients, and advocating on their behalf. Overall, The Upside Fund has helped eliminate over $15 million in medical debt to date.
